About Me

My name is Maggie Pruitt, and I specialize in digital content creation and media coverage for collegiate student-athletes and their teams.

I tell compelling stories about athletes through graphic design, photography, social media and writing. As an assistant director of athletic communication at Quinnipiac University, I strive to provide student-athletes with the best experiences and celebrate their successes in unique and engaging ways. I have worked hard to develop new skills and grow professionally in my industry, and in addition to my full-time role in athletic communication/sports information, I also design all of the graphics for Quinnipiac Athletics (web and social).

Throughout my three years at Quinnipiac, I have documented and shared numerous individual and team accomplishments and victories through writing, photography and graphic design. As a result of my work, the coaches and student-athletes have been able to show their programs off to prospective students and parents with hopes of recruiting the best athletes to choose Quinnipiac.

On a personal note, I have been able to watch some amazing student-athletes grow up and compete at the highest level of competition while celebrating their achievements alongside them. The group of freshmen I came in with are now seniors, which is really crazy to think about, but I have loved watching them compete and grow for four years.

I am originally from Atlanta, GA and played soccer at a NCAA Division II school called Shorter University in Rome, GA. I discovered my passion for sports at a young age and played competitive soccer and basketball growing up, alongside my three siblings.
